North Carolina Makes List for Aging Boomers

According to the Brookings Insitute, Raleigh and Cary in North Carolina are among the 10 most rapidly aging cities in America.

Over the last 10 years, the number of people over the age of 45 grew 18 times faster than those under 45. According to the Census Bureau, every day for the next 19 years, 10,000 boomers in the United States will turn 65. This year in North Carolina, more than 84,000 are expected to pass that threshold.
