Halloween: Baby Boomer Style

As you know, Halloween is just around the corner. Remember when you were a kid and you dressed up in your favorite costume?

If I invited you over to my house for a Baby Boomer Halloween Party, what or who would you come dressed as? Pick a favorite cartoon or storybook character from your past or your favorite actor/actress and tell us why you picked them.

I'll start:

If I'm having hot flashes, I'll come as Annie Oakley because she carried a gun! Otherwise, I would probably come as Little Bo Peep. I loved those puffed fancy dresses and I know I'd look really cute in one--plus it hides fat :)

I carry a fan with me everywhere. I've got about a dozen, all color coordinated with my clothes.

I'm a bit large, so my best physical attribute are my large breasts.

So I would come as an 18th century courtesan with boobs pushed up and out and a fan to keep them and myself covered and cool ; )

I would have to come as a crewmember of the Starship Enterprise - preferably the Captain - although I don't harbor a desire to be William Shatner. I've been a Trekkie for as long as I can remember. Beam me up, Scottie!

I'll come as the good witch, Glenda. Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite movie and Glenda is one of my granddaughter's most loved characters.

I think I'll come as what I would have been in the 1800s - a floozy, a soiled dove, a madam! Then I could wear a hot pink feather boa, smoke cheroots and drink whiskey - maybe even sing a honky tonk tune!

"Put them pistols down, leave yer dollar on the dresser dearie, and drop yer drawers!" hahahaha!
